Yes, we provide the Alto Guarantee 2-Year Workmanship Warranty. Alto Painting Group warrants that the coatings applied will be free from peeling, flaking, or blistering due to improper application for a period of 24 months. Please note that this excludes damage caused by acts of God such as hurricanes or flooding, normal wear and tear like scuffs or scratches, horizontal surfaces including deck floors, and cracking caused by house settling or moisture behind the walls.
We specialize in residential painting services to help refresh and update your home. Our primary offerings include comprehensive residential interior painting and residential exterior painting. Whether you are looking to update a single room or completely transform the outside of your house, our team is equipped to handle your project.
To ensure a smooth process for residential interior painting, we recommend removing small or fragile items from the rooms being painted. Clearing off shelves, taking down wall hangings, and moving smaller pieces of furniture can help our team access the walls more efficiently. We will handle the heavy lifting and ensure your belongings are properly covered and protected during the project.
It is generally not required for you to be home for the entirety of a residential exterior painting project. We usually ask that you are available at the beginning of the job to review the project details and at the end to walk through the final results. We strive to maintain clear communication throughout the process so you are always updated on our progress.
The duration of a painting project depends on several factors, including the size of the home, the scope of the work, and whether it is interior or exterior. While smaller interior jobs may take just a few days, larger exterior projects might take a week or more. We will provide a general timeline during your initial consultation so you know what to expect.
Residential Interior Painting
The duration of an interior painting project depends entirely on the size of the space, the amount of preparation required, and the number of coats needed. A single room may be completed in a day, while a full house could take several days or more.
It is generally recommended to remove smaller items, electronics, and fragile decor from the area. Larger furniture pieces can usually be moved to the center of the room and properly covered by the painting team to protect them during the process.
Most standard projects require two coats of paint to achieve a consistent, even finish and true color representation. However, drastic color changes or heavily textured walls may require an additional coat or a specialized primer beforehand.
While it is technically possible to paint over certain types of wallpaper, it is almost always recommended to remove the wallpaper first. Painting over wallpaper can lead to visible seams and may cause the paper to peel away from the wall over time.
Preparation is relatively simple for the homeowner. We suggest taking down wall hangings, removing window treatments if applicable, and clearing pathways so the painting crew can access the walls easily and work efficiently.
Residential Exterior Painting
The duration of an exterior painting project depends on the size of the home and the scope of the preparation required. Most standard residential projects are completed within a few days to a week, assuming favorable weather conditions.
We thoroughly prepare the exterior to remove dirt and debris, scrape away any loose or peeling paint, and apply primer to bare areas. We also ensure all necessary areas are masked off to protect them during the painting process.
Yes, we can apply new coatings over existing exterior colors. Depending on the color transition and the condition of the current paint, we may recommend specific primers or additional coats to ensure full coverage and a vibrant finish.
Exterior painting is best performed during periods of consistent, moderate weather without excessive rain or high humidity. We monitor local weather patterns closely to schedule your project during the most optimal conditions for proper curing.
Maintaining your newly painted home involves regular visual inspections and gentle cleaning to remove accumulated dirt or debris. Avoid using harsh abrasive materials or high-pressure washing methods that could damage the finish.
